Pink Princess
Good evening friends, followers and visitors!
I have today’s hand made card of the day.
A gorgeous princess themed card. It is an
8″ square card. For the back layer I used a white hammered card which
surprisingly was the last piece I had in that size (need to source more)
The pink rectangle layer was created using a distress ink in pickled
raspberry (glorious colour) It is more faded than the actual colour
because I dabbed the excess on to some crap paper and then blended on to
the card. I did this because I wanted a variant of pinks out of one ink
pad.
The lady in the dress is “Bella” A tattered lace die (I have used
this previously) I cut two of her out on to Sheena’s stamping card and
snipped her head off (I know I’m cruel ;) ) then I blended the raspberry ink on to the dress. The flowers are the lavish bloom poppy again by tattered lace. I have used the same distress ink with the faded effect and the non faded effect. The dress and the flowers were sprayed with glitter spray bought from Crafter’s companion – if you use this spray be sure to use in a ventilated room it has a rather pungent nail polish smell and it’s strong!
To add that last touch to this card I added some dazzler gems with a sprinkle of glitter around the edges.
Here’s a close up of princess Bella.
