Hand made cards of the day
Two cards to show you!
This is a 5×7″ card. I originally was
going to do a colourful vibrant card but when I stamped the tiger (from
Sheena’s India collection) I immediately fell in love with the contrast
of the image and I decided not to colour it in.
I then rummaged through my stash of card
and find some printed vellum that was hidden. This was bought at a craft
fair I went to.
The tiger image and the sentiment were
both stamped on to Sheena’s stamping card with Staz-On ink. I then
matted and layered them on to the patterned vellum. The ribbon is double
satin and I have added a dazzler gem on top.
Here’s a close up of the tiger.
Now this second card is more vibrant with a
marbled effect. Again it is a 5×7″ card. I first made the background by
blending distress inks then I spritzed water and blotted it with some
tissue for a bleached effect.
The flower was stamped several times,
glittered cut out and layered with collall 3d clear glue gel. I added a
stamped sentiment and a ribbon from my stash which has been tinted with
distress inks to match the card more. Again dazzler gems have been
added.
Here is a close up of the flower!
